Steps To Delete your McAfee Account

Step 1:-

Contact the McAfee customer support. You will have to call the customer support of McAfee to unsubscribe to McAfee. Doing this will cancel your McAfee account. You will be required to give the details of your state Identity or driver license for the purpose f identity verification.

Step 2:-

Uninstall McAfee software. If your computer has an operating system which is newer than Windows Vista, then click on the Start button. Click on the Control Panel button.  Click on the Add or Remove Programs tab. Select McAfee Security Center. Click on the Change or Remove button. Follow the instructions given on the screen to complete the process.

Step 3:-

IF your computer ha windows Vista Operating system, go to start and click on Search. Type in- “Programs and Features.” Click on Go. Open “Programs and Features.” Click on McAfee Security Centre.” Click on uninstall and follow the on-screen prompts.

Step 4:-

Download the McAfee Consumer Products Removal tool. Save and run the file. Close all the McAfee programs and double click on McAfee product removal tool to open it. Follow the on-screen prompts to remove and uninstall all McAfee programs.

Step 5:-

Restart your computer system.
